Job description
Role overview
Mercury is a leading European contractor delivering complex engineering and construction projects for major global organisations. The company supports advanced technologies and critical infrastructure across sectors such as enterprise data centres, hyperscale data centres, life sciences, advanced technology, and fire protection.
This graduate opportunity is part of Mercury’s development programme, created for future leaders who want to contribute to demanding projects while building a long-term career. The programme is designed to develop practical capability through structured learning, expert-led courses, masterclasses, and real project exposure in an international setting.
Since 2009, the programme has trained more than 360 graduates. It runs for eighteen months and includes both internal and external subject-matter-led training. Participants also complete a group research project, working in small teams of four or five on a strategic business topic assigned by senior management and presenting their findings to leadership.

- Work closely with clients, main contractors, and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates to management on competitor movements, market conditions, and other relevant commercial trends.
- Carry out additional duties connected to the role as required.
