Job description

Program overview

This opportunity is designed for new graduates and early-career applicants who want to begin an international career instead of taking a conventional office-based role. The position places you in China, where you will teach English, gain global work experience, and develop practical skills while receiving a competitive salary.

No previous teaching background is needed. The employer provides full training, visa support, and a structured path for professional growth. It is a strong fit for a first job, a graduate alternative, or a gap-year style launch into working life.

Key duties

  • Teach English to children and teenagers between the ages of 3 and 16 in an engaging classroom environment.
  • Use the organization’s curriculum and digital learning tools to deliver lively and effective lessons.
  • Give helpful feedback to students and support their confidence in using English.
  • Join school-led events, cultural programs, and student engagement activities.

What the role offers

  • Competitive pay with a performance bonus after 6 months.
  • 21 days of paid leave, made up of 10 paid days plus 11 statutory holidays.
  • Flight allowance.
  • International health insurance with shared cost.
  • Airport pickup assistance.
  • Sponsored legal Z work visa, along with up to 2 weeks of sponsored hotel accommodation.
  • Initial induction, continuous support, and ready-to-use teaching materials.
  • TEFL certificate support plus skills development and career progression.
  • Access to distance-learning programs, including Level 6 Trinity College CertPT and DELTM.
  • Company-run social and cultural activities, plus complimentary Mandarin lessons.

Accommodation and visa notes

The hotel stay for the first two weeks is treated as part of the sponsorship package, provided the first-year contract is successfully completed. Visa-related expenses for the sponsored legal Z work visa will be reimbursed.

Candidate profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • A valid passport.
  • Interest in teaching, travel, and cross-cultural exchange.
  • TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is beneficial, and sponsorship may be available.
  • A clear background check.
