Job description
Overview
Enterprise Mobility is a family-run global mobility company with a turnover of $39 billion, close to 90,000 employees, and a presence in 95 countries. The business is led by CEO Chrissy Taylor, the third generation of the Taylor family, and is built on a long-term foundation that supports the success of its people, customers, and operations.
Why this graduate management training programme stands out
This role is designed to help you grow into leadership, with the chance to progress to branch manager in one of the retail operations within as little as two years. Many of the company’s senior leaders, including the current CEO, began their careers in this position.
From the outset, you will receive strong support and real accountability. The programme gives practical exposure across customer service, sales, marketing, finance, operations, and related business functions.
Rewards and growth
High performance is recognised through incentive-based rewards and ongoing promotion opportunities. The company follows a promote-from-within approach, allowing career progression without needing to move to another employer.
Training and development are central to the programme. You will learn through classroom sessions, on-the-job experience, and mentoring so you can continue building your capabilities and move to the next stage of your career.
Inclusive workplace
Enterprise Mobility aims to welcome a wide range of perspectives and values diversity of thought. The experience in this role is shaped by both the organisation and the individual, with an emphasis on inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a strong customer experience by managing reservations, responding to enquiries, and building positive relationships with a varied customer base.
- Support sales and marketing activity by engaging with local business partners, expanding your network, and nurturing long-term connections.
- Learn the financial side of the business, including cost management and how to read and interpret profit and loss information.
- Develop operational and logistics skills by helping manage the fleet, planning strategically, and contributing to performance improvement.
- Build leadership ability by mentoring, training, and helping develop team members, with scope to lead and promote others as you progress.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, although relevant professional experience may be considered instead.
- A full manual driving licence from the Republic of Ireland, the UK, or the EU is required; reasonable adjustments can be made for candidates who do not drive because of a disability.
- There must be no drug- or alcohol-related driving offence recorded within the previous five years.
- The role cannot support an employment permit application because it is not eligible under the current permit rules.
- Selection will be based on performance against the company’s competencies rather than background, university, subject choice, or final degree result.
- Candidates should inform the employer about any accessibility or interview accommodations needed during recruitment.
- Applicants should submit only one application for the location where they live or intend to work, as multiple applications may slow processing.
- This vacancy is specifically for Cork.
Additional information
The employer states that applicants will be assessed fairly and individually, with emphasis on competency-based evaluation. The company also encourages people to request accommodations where needed during the hiring process.
This posting is restricted to the Cork location.
