About the Role
Joining Arup as a Graduate Health and Safety Consultant gives you the opportunity to contribute positively to the world through involvement with world-renowned built environment projects. Key Responsibilities
- Act as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) coordinator on projects of various sizes and complexities.
- Conduct health and safety design reviews collaboratively with design teams.
- Advise clients and designers on construction, operational, and occupational health and safety matters.
- Support Company Safety Officers in implementing the occupational safety management system compliant with OHSAS 18001.
- Perform safety reviews and inspections during design and construction phases at construction sites and operational facilities.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a third-level qualification in Health and Safety.
- A degree in other construction-related technical disciplines such as Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is also valued.
- Familiarity with health and safety legislation related to design and construction.
- Understanding of the PSDP role.
- Knowledge of Safety Management Systems.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
- Proactive in gathering information and ensuring task completion.
- Experience on construction sites is advantageous.
