About the Role

With a foundation in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field, you will be a vital contributor to our Life Science/Chemical Analysis Group by delivering exceptional service and technical support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and commission advanced Agilent analytical instruments including LC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, and Atomic Spectroscopy systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to maintain peak operational performance.
• Provide expert advice to customers on optimal instrument configurations and maintenance plans to enhance reliability and performance.
• Participate in complex, large-scale instrument deployments within laboratory settings.
• Offer application-level assistance and conduct training sessions for customers over time.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related science disciplines.
• Postgraduate qualifications, certificates, or licenses may be necessary.
• Up to two years of work experience, including internships and graduate roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a genuine interest in technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, delivered in a polite and clear manner.
• Willingness and readiness to travel extensively locally and interstate, embracing customer visits enthusiastically.
