Graduate Engineer Trainee - UG NX Design Engineer for Automotive Seating Foam

Overview

We are seeking passionate Graduate Engineer Trainees to join our Automotive Seating Design division. This role involves training and contributing to the creation and refinement of automotive seating foam parts using Siemens UG NX software. This position offers a valuable career foundation for fresh graduates in automotive product design.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and update detailed 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings utilizing Siemens UG NX.
• Assist in designing and evolving automotive seating foam components in line with project requirements.
• Adhere strictly to OEM CAD standards, design protocols, and client specifications.
• Create precise engineering drawings and systematically organize CAD documentation.
• Participate in packaging assessments, feasibility checks, and adjust designs as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency with Siemens UG NX (Unigraphics/NX CAD) platform.
• Strong foundational understanding of Mechanical Design principles.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) practices.
• Well-developed analytical thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills combined with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute within the Automotive Seating sector.

Eligibility

Open to candidates holding a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Compensation

Annual salary package ranges from 150,000 INR to 225,000 INR.
