Role Overview
Penspen is looking for recent engineering graduates to join its Abu Dhabi team as part of a wider effort to strengthen local national talent in the UAE. The opportunity is open across multiple engineering disciplines, including Process, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control, and Electrical.

Penspen is an established energy services organization that has supported the global energy sector for more than 65 years through engineering, project management, asset management, and integrity services. The business began in the UK in 1954 as Spencer & Partners and has since expanded to nearly 1,000 employees, with key offices in London, Mexico, Colombia, Houston, and Abu Dhabi.
Job Purpose
This position is intended as a development-level engineering role, supporting the engineering function on projects and across the wider business as needed.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized university, aligned to the relevant discipline, is required.
- A master's degree in a relevant discipline is considered an added advantage.
Experience
- 0 to 3 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
- Prior work experience in the region will be beneficial.
Expected Profile
- Reliable and proactive, with a positive can-do approach to assigned tasks.
- Willing to work hard and complete responsibilities thoroughly.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to share information clearly across teams and departments.
- Suitable for a graduate-level engineer with the ability to develop and contribute to non-complex and non-critical engineering tasks.
- Working familiarity with standard software applications is needed.
- Strong report-writing ability and a willingness to learn from mistakes under close supervision.
- Basic understanding of schedule timelines and man-hour budgets.
