About the role
Circana is looking for a Graduate Account Executive to manage a portfolio of small to medium FMCG clients in Auckland. This role focuses on day-to-day relationship management, supporting clients as their main contact, and helping them gain more value from Circana’s products and services.

What you will do
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, handling a broad range of everyday questions and requests.
- Work with internal colleagues to build and deliver account plans that create measurable commercial value.
- Take ownership of renewals and identify chances to grow accounts through upselling, partnership expansion, and additional Circana solutions.
- Support change activities during the move from older systems to newer technology, working with stakeholders to help the transition run smoothly.
- Coordinate data-related requests such as database access, permissions, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Train clients on Circana’s proprietary tools so they can use the platform effectively.
- Assist with the delivery of insights and analysis that help clients make better data-led decisions.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a collaborative, curious person who enjoys learning and relationship building, and who wants to grow commercial capability. You should be comfortable managing stakeholders, handling challenging discussions when needed, and delivering a strong client experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a client-facing role, ideally in account management, sales, or a related area; FMCG exposure is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication, along with presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain productive client relationships.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to spot growth opportunities.
- Good planning and prioritisation abilities.
- High attention to detail, strong organisation, and effective time management.
- Analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and turn it into practical insights.
- Interest in software and data technologies, plus a technical mindset and willingness to learn new tools.
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
