About the Role

Aseel Holding is hiring a polished, proactive Government Relations Officer to oversee all dealings with government bodies, keep the company aligned with regulatory requirements, and assist the Human Resources team with employee- and company-related services. In this position, you will act as the organization’s representative with public authorities, help maintain compliance across official platforms, handle formal communication, and contribute to HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the company’s point of contact with ministries, departments, and other government authorities.
  • Visit relevant government offices and regulatory bodies whenever needed.
  • Handle government-related processes for employees and business operations.
  • Track and follow up on approvals, permits, registrations, and other official submissions.
  • Build and maintain constructive working relationships with public-sector stakeholders.
  • Administer company activity on key government systems and platforms such as Qiwa, Muqeem, Mudad, Tamheer, GOSI, Absher Business, MHRSD, the National Address Platform (SPL), Chamber of Commerce, Balady, and training and professional development platforms including Waad and any other relevant systems.
  • Keep an eye on expiry dates and ensure licenses, permits, and employee documents are renewed on time.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes, platform requirements, and compliance obligations.
  • Draft, prepare, and submit official letters and other government-facing communications.
  • Coordinate document attestations, certifications, and submission processes.
  • Keep organized records of correspondence, approvals, and related documentation.
  • Support HR with employee government transactions and compliance tasks.
  • Coordinate contracts, employee transfers, work permits, and registrations.
  • Assist with onboarding and exit processes.
  • Help prepare and process offer letters and employment agreements.
  • Maintain employee records and supporting compliance files.
  • Update and manage employee data in Jisr HRMS.
  • Support routine HR administration and ensure records are current.
  • Work with HR to keep system data aligned with government records.
  • Track all government transactions and deadlines accurately.
  • Prepare regular reports on outstanding and completed items.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi labor regulations and internal company standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be a Saudi national.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Government Relations within Saudi Arabia.
  • Working knowledge of Qiwa, Muqeem, Mudad, Tamheer, GOSI, Absher Business, Balady, Chamber of Commerce services, government ministry procedures, and Jisr HRMS.
  • Strong command of both Arabic and English.
  • Good understanding of Saudi Labor Law and public-sector procedures.
  • Professional presentation and the confidence to represent the company externally.
  • Well-developed organizational, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information responsibly and discreetly.

Additional Information

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is a full-time, on-site position.
