Role Overview
We are looking for a Government Policy Consultant to work remotely on a contract basis. In this position, you will use your policy expertise to contribute to the training of next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input that improves how models learn, reason, and perform.
What You’ll Do
- Examine, prepare, and refine policy materials, legal agreements, proposals, and research documents using strong Word and PDF capabilities.
- Offer strategic guidance and practical recommendations across regulatory, legal, healthcare, academic, or finance-related topics.
- Review documents carefully to ensure accuracy, compliance, readability, and alignment with industry standards.
- Assist with formatting documents, applying tracked changes, completing forms, and extracting data with precision.
- Work with cross-functional teams to turn complex information into clear and actionable policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date with changing rules, regulations, and guidance relevant to your area of expertise.
- Present conclusions and recommendations clearly in both written and spoken form.
Required Background
- You should bring at least 3 years of professional experience in government policy operations.
- Strong command of Word and PDF tools is essential, including document review, formatting, tracked changes, and data extraction.
- You need excellent communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly and professionally in writing and speech.
- Experience drafting, evaluating, and reviewing detailed policy or regulatory documents is expected.
- You must be able to handle several assignments at once while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced remote setting.
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work are important.
Preferred Experience
- Background working with Fortune 500 clients or on notable regulatory, legal, or policy initiatives is an advantage.
