About the Team
The HR Operations team is dedicated to creating a positive and seamless employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. We prioritize empathy and care in our approach, focusing on developing efficient and straightforward people processes, systems, policies, and programs. Our goal is to ensure employees feel supported and have the necessary resources to excel in their roles.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on various overseas employment models and compliance requirements, including contractor, Employer of Record (EOR), outsourcing, and direct hiring scenarios.
- Collaborate with international legal teams, external law firms, and regional business units to identify employment-related risks and regulatory obligations in different countries and regions.
- Continuously monitor updates in labor laws, taxation, data privacy regulations, and workforce compliance across key global markets, providing internal research and risk assessments.
- Translate complex compliance requirements into standardized internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), management systems, approval workflows, and operational processes for global implementation.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of overseas employment risk cases and a knowledge base to offer policy interpretations and solutions to business teams.
- Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Security departments to establish and enhance a global workforce governance system.
- Engage in overseas employment projects, including evaluating vendors, designing staffing models, mitigating risks, and conducting internal training sessions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency with common global employment models and fundamental processes such as EOR, third-party dispatch, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
- Strong capabilities in research and information synthesis, with the ability to efficiently consolidate policies from various countries into structured conclusions.
- Fluency in English, enabling independent communication with overseas legal teams and external consultants.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in overseas labor law or international compliance projects.
- Previous experience working with EOR services or global employment platforms.
- Experience in workforce governance within Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, or the Middle East.
- Experience in large-scale internet companies or globally operating enterprises.
- Academic background in Law, Labor Relations, Human Resources, or International Business is advantageous.
- A background in HR service procurement, working with HR service providers, or in labor legal/compliance roles is preferred.
