Role Summary
The Global Vice President of Quality Improvement is a pivotal full-time and fully remote leadership position overseeing the overall global quality management strategy across all VeTek operations and product lines. This role entails spearheading quality planning, streamlining processes, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to guarantee product consistency and alignment with industry regulations and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise regional quality teams and establish critical performance indicators.
- Collaborate effectively with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain departments to minimize defects, escalate yields, and boost customer satisfaction.
- Analyze and review quality data; direct root cause investigations and roll out corrective and preventive measures.
- Update and maintain quality policies and procedures to comply with evolving standards.
- Engage directly with strategic customers addressing quality-related matters and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, support audit processes, and maintain quality certifications.
- Coach and mentor quality professionals to foster a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Proven experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, particularly within manufacturing or semiconductor fields, with demonstrated success in decreasing defects and elevating product reliability.
- Solid foundation in Quality Management Systems, including the development, implementation, and governance of global quality frameworks consistent with standards such as ISO.
- Competency in Regulatory Affairs, including interpreting relevant laws, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance at a multinational level.
- Expertise in directing quality enhancement programs supported by data-driven approaches, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action plans.
- Extensive leadership capabilities managing global or multi-site quality operations with excellent stakeholder relationship management and cross-functional teamwork.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and communication skills capable of conveying complex quality issues and solutions to senior leadership and customers.
- Educational qualifications such as a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, materials science, quality management, or related disciplines; prior semiconductor industry experience is a significant plus.
