Job description

About Dyson

Dyson is a worldwide technology company known for tackling problems others overlook and turning them into practical innovations. The business is expanding quickly, opening up new opportunities across more product categories, locations, and teams. People are given meaningful responsibility early, encouraged to bring fresh ideas, and supported by a global community that learns and grows together.

About the Global Supply Chain team

Dyson’s supply chain function plays a central role in moving product designs into the hands of customers. The team supports Research, Design and Development as well as Dyson’s business categories, contributing to key decisions that affect product design, operational performance, and long-term growth. Because Dyson develops unconventional products, it also requires a supply chain that is equally smart, efficient, and adaptable.

The Global Supply Chain organisation covers activities such as building production capability, sourcing materials, keeping operations running smoothly across locations, and coordinating worldwide deliveries. It also supports cost efficiency so savings can be reinvested into the business and its people, while helping reduce environmental impact through refurbishment and recycling initiatives.

About the programme

The Global Supply Chain Graduate Programme is a two-year development scheme. It offers practical exposure to a wide range of functions, which may include Manufacturing Engineering, Global Outsourced Operations, Global New Product Operations, Global Procurement, Global Outsourced Procurement, Global Indirect Procurement, Global Refurbishment Operations, Logistics, and Strategy and Transformation.

Graduates work within high-performing teams across different regions and build a broad capability set beyond technical knowledge. The programme is designed to strengthen project management, data analysis, presentation ability, and global stakeholder management, while also providing structured support, training, and opportunities to grow into a well-rounded future leader.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of Dyson products from concept to customer through supply chain activity.
  • Contribute to production line setup, materials sourcing, operational coordination, and global logistics.

  • Use analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills to contribute to business decisions.
  • Build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across regions and functions.
  • Participate in a structured graduate development journey with increasing responsibility.

Requirements

  • Currently studying for, or already holding, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Operations, Industrial, or Process) or a Supply Chain specialisation.

  • PhD students are not eligible for this graduate programme.
  • Expected graduation date is by August 2026.
  • Evidence of problem-solving ability through academic work or extracurricular activities.
