Job description

About the role

Safeguard Global is looking for a Global Solutions Advisor to support growth across the DACH region. In this role, you will advise mid-market companies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland on how to recruit, compensate, and manage international talent in a compliant and efficient way. The position involves guiding clients through complex decisions related to employer of record services, payroll, HR administration, and cross-border expansion.

The company operates with a remote-first and hybrid-first approach, built around flexibility and a people-first philosophy. Depending on the role, some positions are fully remote while others may require office presence once or twice a week.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and run a territory plan for the DACH market, including target account strategy and outbound prospecting.
  • Build pipeline through self-generated outreach, internal referrals, marketing-generated leads, and partner introductions.
  • Conduct structured discovery with HR, Finance, Legal, and senior decision-makers to understand business needs, risks, and expansion plans.
  • Manage complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders using a disciplined qualification approach and strong deal oversight.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and ROI-based business cases, address objections, and steer negotiations through to close.
  • Keep forecasts accurate and maintain clean pipeline records through regular deal reviews and clear next steps.
  • Compete effectively in competitive sales cycles by positioning Safeguard Global against global platforms and local alternatives.
  • Work closely with BDR, Marketing, Solutions/Operations, and implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs and a consistent customer experience.

What you should bring

  • Strong written and spoken German and English skills are essential.
  • Experience in B2B consultative selling, ideally in HR tech, payroll, or employer-of-record solutions.
  • Ability to independently generate new business, not relying only on inbound opportunities.
  • Experience selling into DACH stakeholders with strict compliance expectations, including HR, Finance, Legal, and C-level contacts.
  • Strong discovery skills, deal control, and the ability to engage multiple stakeholders across a sales cycle.
  • A high sense of ownership and the ability to manage your territory like a business.
  • Proven success in competitive selling environments, especially in EOR, global payroll, or HR services.
  • Comfort working in structured procurement processes and compliance-led buying decisions.
  • A collaborative working style with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong forecasting discipline and a data-driven approach to pipeline management.
  • Results orientation, client focus, and a proactive, hands-on mindset.

Perks and benefits

  • Sell a market-leading service that is in strong demand.
  • Access to a first-class sales enablement and value-selling training program, plus individual coaching.
  • Ongoing learning about how businesses operate globally.
  • Opportunities to travel and visit interesting locations.
  • Autonomy over quota ownership, with flexibility to perform at your best.
  • A high-performance environment that supports career growth.
  • An energetic, international, and engaging team culture.
  • Remote-first flexibility that can fit around personal life needs.
  • A competitive leave package, including paid bonding leave for new family additions.
  • Two paid charitable days each year.
  • Eligibility for an annual bonus scheme or sales incentive plan.
  • Access to two learning platforms for self-paced development.

Compensation and other details

The base salary starts at €60,000 per year. An annual sales incentive plan also applies, and for 2026 the incentive target is €70,000. Pay decisions are based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, scope of responsibility, and market benchmarking, aligned with internal salary structures.

Safeguard Global serves more than 1,500 customers and helps organisations recruit, hire, manage, and pay employees in nearly 190 countries. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and maintaining a respectful workplace for all applicants and team members.
