About the role
Safeguard Global is looking for a German-speaking Business Development Representative to support growth across the DACH region and wider EMEA markets. In this position, you will help fast-growing companies expand internationally by connecting them with global employment solutions.

What you will do
- Generate and assess new business opportunities through outbound calls, email outreach, social selling, and responses to inbound interest.
- Connect with HR, Finance, Operations, and senior decision-makers in German-speaking markets to understand their business challenges and present relevant solutions.
- Work closely with Account Executives to develop account plans and ensure a smooth transfer of qualified prospects.
- Use campaigns, events, and partner channels to create early-stage pipeline and increase prospect engagement.
- Keep Salesforce records accurate and up to date, and share clear updates on pipeline status and progress.
- Work toward and exceed targets for qualified meetings, opportunities, and revenue contribution.
- Improve outreach and performance continuously through coaching, feedback, and peer collaboration.
What the company is looking for
- Previous experience in business development, sales development, or inside sales, ideally within B2B SaaS, HR technology, or global workforce solutions.
- Practical experience working in the DACH market and understanding of its business culture and buying process.
- Native-level or fluent German, along with strong written and spoken English.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- A motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented approach with the ability to consistently work toward targets.
- Ability to build relationships quickly and manage several conversations at once.
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and sales engagement tools.
- Based in Germany and open to remote work, with participation in events across Germany and occasional office visits to Barcelona.
