Role overview
This position is for a Senior Associate in Demand Generation, aligned to a specific business unit and focused on vertical-led pipeline creation, account intelligence, and sales support. The job works closely with Sales, Marketing, and internal demand generation teams to help build qualified opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.

Pre-requisites
Applicants should hold a BE in any discipline. An MBA or an equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred. The role calls for 5 to 8 years of experience in services solution selling or tech product selling. A strong understanding of the IT industry is essential, along with excellent communication skills, advanced MS Office ability, and consulting capability to identify customer problems and propose effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead demand generation planning for the assigned vertical and drive high-impact initiatives linked to business unit growth goals.
- Work with sales leadership to build and execute programs that create and expand strategic conversations leading to SQLs and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal demand generation and marketing teams on account-based planning, including target account selection, prospect and persona definition, offer alignment, and GTM planning.
- Create and run industry-specific campaigns using market trends, emerging themes, and vertical insights to generate demand.
- Manage account planning to identify whitespace, expansion potential, and cross-service opportunities within named and strategic accounts.
- Develop and maintain a central account repository with stakeholder and decision-maker mapping across service lines to support scalable pipeline creation.
- Use market intelligence and outreach tools such as Draup, ZoomInfo, D&B Hoovers, and LinkedIn to improve account understanding, targeting, and engagement.
- Serve as a strategic partner to sales by sharing account intelligence, campaign ideas, and practical engagement plans that help improve win rates and speed up deal closure.
- Deliver measurable outcomes against targets for qualified leads, sales opportunities, wins, and pipeline contribution.

Additional information
The role is open for work locations in Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune. The compensation shown is an annual package of INR 6,00,000 to 15,00,000.
