About the role

This position is suited to someone who enjoys building safe, well-managed environments and is comfortable with variety in their day-to-day work. The role will serve as the main physical security contact for Germany and nearby markets, helping to establish, run, and scale the security function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily physical security activities for Germany and adjacent Central European markets, acting as the main contact for regional security matters.
• Manage a wide range of security-related incidents and coordinate responses with HR, Legal, and other local stakeholders when needed.
• Lead and support physical security projects, including the installation, improvement, and upkeep of access control hardware at offices and market sites.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with security vendors and installation partners to ensure dependable service and quality execution.
• Work closely with Real Estate, HR, Legal, and local General Managers to spot security risks and address them before they become issues.
• Support global security programs and help create processes that can scale with a rapidly growing business.

Requirements

• Strong written and spoken English is required, since it is the company’s main working language.
• German fluency is also required for everyday communication with local partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in physical security, preferably with administrative or project coordination responsibilities.
• A broad security background with the ability to work independently across both operational and project-driven tasks.
• Previous experience managing security vendors and suppliers.
• A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to identify issues and take action without waiting for instructions.
• Interest in using AI tools and technology in day-to-day work.
• A security coordinator certification or similar qualification is considered an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
