Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Global Head of HR to develop and expand Higgsfield's international People function amid rapid growth. This critical position spans leadership, talent acquisition, operational execution, legal compliance, and strategic organizational development. The role oversees recruiting strategies, people operations, compensation, performance systems, compliance, workforce planning, and organizational design, working closely with founders and senior executives across the US and global teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and build the global HR function inclusive of recruitment, operations, compensation, compliance, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define organizational structures, workforce plans, and long-term talent goals.
  • Create and implement scalable HR systems and processes that support rapid international expansion.
  • Enhance organizational effectiveness through team design, leveling frameworks, performance evaluations, and leadership support.
  • Develop robust onboarding, growth, and retention programs tailored for high-performance settings.
  • Act as a trusted consultant to leadership and employees on employee relations and scaling complexities.
  • Manage and advance recruiting processes across diverse functions including engineering, AI research, product, growth, and general administration.
  • Drive employer branding, recruiting infrastructure, and hiring efficiency to compete in global talent markets.
  • Lead compensation, equity, performance reviews, and compliance aligned with corporate objectives and market standards.
  • Oversee employment law compliance across U.S. and international jurisdictions in partnership with legal and finance teams.
  • Support global HR operations including relocation, immigration, workforce documentation, and HR reporting automation.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

  • Extensive leadership experience developing People Operations and Recruiting in fast-growing tech environments.
  • Advanced knowledge in establishing HR infrastructure and operations from early-stage to scale.
  • Strong expertise in U.S. employment law, compensation frameworks, and HR compliance.
  • Proven success managing and scaling international teams across multiple countries.
  • Track record of acquiring and retaining top-tier talent within competitive markets.
  • Expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, judgement, and interpersonal skills with direct executive collaboration experience.
  • High operational aptitude capable of balancing strategic vision with tactical execution in dynamic startups.
  • Experience in international team leadership and stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in broader business or operational scaling initiatives.
  • Experience in relocation, visa sponsorship, and international employee mobility.
  • Familiarity with HR automation, systems integration, and scalable reporting tools.

Compensation & Benefits

The role offers a competitive compensation range of $235,000 to $265,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and location. Equity options and comprehensive benefits are also included to support professional and personal growth.
