About the Role
Our client, a rapidly expanding medical device contract manufacturing company, is searching for an experienced Global Head of Human Resources to join the leadership team. Reporting directly to the OpCo executives, this position blends strategic high-level advising with active operational management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to OpCo senior leadership and participate as a member of both the OpCo Executive Leadership Team and the parent company’s HR leadership group, ensuring HR strategy supports ambitious business growth and operational targets.
- Manage human resources compliance, labor relations, and organizational processes related to the company’s geographic growth in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
- Lead organizational design initiatives, talent mapping, and harmonization of HR processes to align with corporate standards set by the parent company, Heraeus.
- Supervise a team of approximately 7 to 8 HR professionals, including HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition specialists, Generalists, and teams responsible for Employee Health & Safety, Benefits, and Compensation.
- Improve workforce engagement particularly among direct-labor employees, elevate employer branding, and enhance performance management systems across multi-shift manufacturing plants.
Candidate Profile
- Possess over 10 years of leadership experience in human resources within manufacturing environments characterized by multi-shift operations and direct-labor workforces; preference for backgrounds in medical device or other regulated manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience supporting international business expansion, familiarity with global labor laws, and managing distributed teams across borders.
- Track record of establishing structured HR processes, deploying data-driven tools, and developing scalable organizational architectures.
- Exhibit an entrepreneurial and process-focused leadership style, comfortable maintaining an active on-site presence and regularly engaging with staff on the plant floor.
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
