Job description
Role Overview
The Global Coordination Office (GCO) Assistant will play a key role within EY's People Advisory Services team, providing operational support to some of the largest Tax and Immigration clients. This position exists within EY's Tax business area and is a full-time permanent role based in Waterford, Ireland. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment with extensive interaction among corporate clients, assignees, and EY global contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate tax and immigration services across different regions ensuring they align with global client policies.
- Monitor and manage global projects, tracking activity progress across EY networks to ensure timely completion.
- Develop and circulate communications and reports relating to global tax and immigration engagements, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Maintain and update databases containing information on populations supported by the team.
- Enhance communication flow between the GCO and international tax/immigration teams to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
- Arrange meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking, and action item tracking to guarantee follow-through.
- Handle administrative duties such as documentation management and filing to ensure efficient client engagement operations.
- Assist the GCO Manager(s) with billing and invoicing to maintain financial oversight of client projects.
Required Skills and Qualities
- Strong organizational and administrative capabilities with efficient task management and structured workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across different locations and time zones.
- Capability to independently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
- Ability to manage confidential data discreetly while observing security standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for managing spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
- Meticulous attention to detail ensuring accuracy and high-quality output.
