Job description
Overview
As the GIS Installation and Service Supervisor at Siemens Energy in Riyadh, you will be instrumental in deploying the latest GIS technologies on Saudi Arabian construction sites. Your duties will include overseeing the precise assembly of advanced GIS models, resolving technical challenges, and upholding rigorous safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will compile comprehensive reports and ensure adherence to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, thereby supporting successful project completions while nurturing a cooperative and safety-conscious work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble current GIS models, such as 8DQ1-6, 8DN8-2/5/6, and 8DN9.
- Supervise SF6 gas handling processes, ensuring strict compliance with safety guidelines.
- Identify and resolve significant faults within Siemens Energy GIS systems.
- Perform GIS CRM, SF6 gas purity, and leak detection tests with precision.
- Interpret Siemens construction and assembly schematics to support installation activities.
- Document and submit detailed installation and inspection reports to the Know-How Center (KHC).
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in electrical studies or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience on construction sites.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including networking and negotiation skills.
- Capability to multitask independently while adapting flexibly to varying demands.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude and resilience under pressure in time-critical situations.
