About the Role

Join PwC as a GIS Automation Tester based in Hyderabad, India, where you'll contribute to automation projects centered around GIS technology. Engage in enhancing IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions by integrating with enterprise systems to streamline operations and modernize field services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans for GIS automation initiatives leveraging IBM Maximo Asset Management tools.
• Integrate Maximo software with various enterprise platforms to augment functional capabilities and operational efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with teams across functions to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges impacting field service and operations.
• Apply analytical reasoning to evaluate and improve middleware frameworks and integration of applications.
• Develop and apply solution architecture strategies supporting asset management and grid modernization efforts.
• Oversee project schedules and deliverable quality to ensure alignment with client requirements and industry benchmarks.
• Incorporate emerging technologies for optimizing processes in energy utilities and manufacturing sectors.
• Promote effective communication and feedback within teams to reinforce collaboration and project success.
• Adapt to changes and foster continuous innovation in technology consulting environments.
• Provide clients with technical guidance and recommendations to enhance engagement outcomes.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in fields such as Business Administration, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Nuclear, Industrial, Production Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering, Construction Management, Materials Science, or Management Information Systems is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions for client-facing applications.
• Expertise in designing Maximo integration strategies to improve operational workflows.
• Excellent analytical capabilities to tackle complex technical problems.
• Proactive attitude towards adopting emerging technologies in field service contexts.
