General Production Worker - Ingersoll, ON

About the Role

Join Cargill's dedicated team in Ingersoll, Ontario, contributing to their protein and salt division which delivers high-quality food products across diverse markets such as foodservice, retail, manufacturing, and export sectors. This full-time production position involves various shifts and provides a wage of $26.50 per hour with medical and dental benefits included.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily production tasks including cutting, packaging, product selection, sorting, and transportation of goods.
• Meet production and quality standards to satisfy customer requirements.
• Operate in cold environments ranging from 0 to 4 degrees Celsius.
• Handle weights between 20 and 60 pounds regularly.
• Work comfortably with raw meat products such as beef, pork, and chicken.
• Maintain physical stamina to stand and perform repetitive tasks over 8 to 10-hour shifts in a fast-paced production setting.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures closely.
• Complete additional duties as delegated by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in food processing production is considered an asset.
