General Operative - Traffic Management

Join Class One Traffic Management in the role of General Operative focusing on traffic management based in Bonnybridge, West Lothian, Scotland. This role involves working flexible shifts supporting safe traffic flow in various scenarios including roadworks and events, contributing actively to Scotland's leading traffic management provider. Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and managing traffic management schemes on highways and construction sites.
• Directing traffic safely during roadworks, events, and emergency situations.
• Working collaboratively with team members and clients to ensure efficient operation.
• Supporting and promoting a positive people-first workplace culture.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility to work various shift patterns including days and nights.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with less than six penalty points and possessed for over 10 months.
• Residence within approximately 40 minutes driving distance from the depot in Bonnybridge.
• Possession of relevant traffic management certifications such as Lantra 12AB,12D M1/M2, or Unit 2 is preferred but not mandatory.

Shift Patterns

• 12 days consecutive work followed by 2 days off.
• 6 days consecutive work followed by 1 day off.
• Part-time option over four days with specific shifts from Saturday to Tuesday or Thursday to Sunday.
• Additional high-speed operative roles involving night shifts require a 12AB Lantra qualification.
