Role Overview

We are inviting motivated candidates to become part of our diverse and multicultural workforce at Kepak Cork. The current recruitment is for positions in our Food Service Department, where you will contribute significantly to our production operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Package a broad range of meat products such as steaks, chops, burgers, meatballs, and other items as needed.
• Handle pork, beef, and lamb daily as part of production duties.
• Operate within a temperature-controlled chilled environment throughout your shift.
• Perform general production tasks involving physical activity and prolonged periods of standing or moving.
• Operate machinery post-completion of comprehensive training.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Line Supervisor based on operational requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in food production is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous; however, all necessary training will be provided.
• Punctuality, integrity, and a strong self-motivated mindset are essential.
• Forklift or Power Pallet Truck operation experience is beneficial though training is available.
• Capability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours according to operational demands.
• A positive, energetic approach and willingness to collaborate in a team setting.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm to learn additional tasks and support wherever required.
• A safety-focused attitude, adhering strictly to safety policies.
• Good communication skills and keen attention to detail.

Working Hours and Transport

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Given the site's limited public transportation options, reliable private transportation is recommended.
