General Manager - Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager for Operations to oversee plant administration and production management in a leading manufacturing setting located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The role demands experience within sectors such as Automobile, Auto-Ancillary, Packaging, Converting, or high-volume export manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall plant administration, including production planning, maintenance, supply chain, and dispatch activities across manufacturing units.
• Drive the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to establish a fully process-driven and system-oriented operational plant.
• Guarantee complete adherence to On-Time In-Full (OTIF) dispatch targets for major international clients such as IKEA, Walmart, and Target.
• Enhance shop-floor operations efficiency, optimize the consumption of raw materials, and minimize operational wastage significantly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile engineering, or an MBA specializing in Operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in system-driven manufacturing environments, with a strong preference for candidates from an automobile industry background.
• Proven leadership capabilities, a data-oriented approach to decision-making, and experience managing large-scale operations.
