Role Overview
An established automotive dealership and distribution conglomerate is recruiting a seasoned General Manager for Information Technology. This leadership role entails overseeing the IT vision, steering digital transformation, and managing enterprise systems and technological operations across several branches and operational units.
Core Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the organization's IT vision and technological strategy.
- Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Administer and enhance Kerridge DMS and Infor SyteLine ERP platforms for optimal performance.
- Ensure cohesive integration among dealership systems, ERP, CRM, OEM portals, and associated business software.
- Provide IT support to Vehicle Sales, Aftersales, Parts, Service Workshops, and Bodyshop operations.
- Lead projects involving ERP and DMS implementations, migrations, upgrades, and continuous improvements.
- Establish and maintain IT governance protocols, security measures, disaster recovery, and business continuity frameworks.
- Manage vendor relationships, including software providers, OEM technology collaborators, and external service suppliers.
- Promote automation, enhance operational efficiencies, and facilitate data-informed decision-making processes.
- Lead and nurture a skilled IT team across multiple sites.
- Handle yearly IT budgets, contracts, and plans for technological investments.
Candidate Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required.
- Advanced qualifications such as a master's degree or MBA are preferred.
- At least 12 years of professional experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Kerridge DMS, Infor SyteLine ERP, CRM systems, infrastructure & networks, cybersecurity, and cloud technology platforms.
- Prior work experience within automotive dealerships, distributors, vehicle importers, or organizations operating across multiple branches.
