- Maintain strong working relationships with banking partners, payment networks, correspondents, and financial institution clients.
- Track regulatory updates and industry developments and ensure changes are implemented appropriately across the business.
- Contribute to broader regional expansion efforts.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in payments, remittance, or foreign exchange environments.
- Strong background in cross-border payments and partnerships with financial institutions.
- Proven success leading regulated financial services businesses.
- Experience running a regulated MSO, remittance business, payment institution, major payment institution, exchange house, or money services business.
- Hands-on exposure to regulators, auditors, banking partners, and compliance teams.
- Solid understanding of Singapore’s payments regulatory landscape, including the Payment Services Act and MAS expectations.
- Must meet MAS fit-and-proper standards.
- Experience managing AML/CFT, sanctions compliance, transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, governance, and regulatory reporting processes.
