Role overview

This probationary general labourer role supports day-to-day plant operations by handling routine manual tasks, maintaining cleanliness and equipment condition, and assisting with production flow and quality checks.

Key responsibilities

• Keep equipment clean and lubricated, maintain a tidy work area, and store or prepare tools as required.
• Carry out instructions to run machinery, provide or handle standard materials and tools, and help load or unload equipment and assembly lines.
• Complete routine property maintenance tasks.
• Handle non-technical, recurring duties within the plant.
• Inspect finished products through basic quality checks.
• Escalate concerns or irregularities to a supervisor or senior team member.
• Observe all safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Take on additional duties as needed.

Education and experience

A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is usually expected.

Skills and capabilities

• Clear spoken and written communication
• Ability to listen carefully and follow instructions
• Flexibility to work across different tasks or functions

Compensation and benefits
