Role Overview

We are actively building a talent pool for General Labour (Non-Posted Bench) positions to support our fast-paced production team. This role plays an integral part in manufacturing premium molded fibre egg cartons, operating in a collaborative team environment. Working Conditions and Benefits

  • Competitive base wage of $27.15 per hour.
  • Overtime pay at 1.5 times the base rate for hours worked beyond 40 per week, including weekends.

Work Schedule

The general labour roles follow a rotating Continental 12-hour shift system (7:00 am to 7:00 pm), alternating monthly between day and night shifts. The weekly schedule rotates as follows:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
  • Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment and conduct routine checks for adherence to production and quality standards.
  • Monitor control panels, gauges, and instruments to identify any machinery or product issues promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure quality specifications relating to product weight, color, and operational functionality are met.
  • Perform additional supervisory-directed duties in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Operate forklifts or other machinery to transport materials within the facility.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years and completion of Grade 12 education.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous, with a focus on safe and efficient work practices.
  • Physically able to sustain prolonged periods of standing and repetitive tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a large team environment (35+ members per shift).
  • Reliability, positive attitude, and comfort with labor-intensive work.
