General Facilities Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a General Facilities Technician to join our team on a pharmaceutical site in Limerick, offering a full-time position with an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building services across the site, ensuring buildings uphold the highest standards and that the working environment remains safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine planned and reactive maintenance tasks as per instructions, maintaining operational standards consistently.
• Carry out routine repairs and minor works within the facility.
• Assist with projects and deliver minor capital improvement works.
• Complete appropriate risk assessments and adhere strictly to work permits and plans.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times, including responding to emergency call-outs when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant trades qualification preferred, specifically in joinery or plumbing.
• Proven experience performing maintenance duties, ideally within building maintenance environments.
• Knowledgeable in repairs and maintenance procedures, health and safety regulations, environmental standards, manual handling, working at heights, and confined space safety.
• Experience working in a building maintenance role, preferably within regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or medical device sectors.
