Role Overview

This opening is for a detail-oriented, hands-on accountant to join the finance and accounting team and report to the Accounting Manager. The position suits someone who has worked with ERP platforms, procurement and payables tools, general ledger activity, and reconciliations, and who is comfortable in a fast-moving technology business that is scaling quickly.

The role supports the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, travel and expense processing, cash handling, prepaids, and accruals, while helping maintain strong financial accuracy and efficient workflows. This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage general accounting tasks and month-end close work, including posting journal entries and completing account reconciliations such as prepaids and accruals.
  • Prepare backup schedules and analysis for financial statement footnotes, disclosures, and external audit requests.
  • Oversee the accounts payable workflow from invoice entry and approvals through to on-time payment, using tools such as Bill.com and SAP S/4 Hana.
  • Assist with travel and expense reimbursements, enforce T&E policy compliance, and reconcile related accounts using systems such as Navan, Concur, Bill, Expensify, Ramp, NetSuite, and SAP S/4 Hana.
  • Support cash operations, including bank statement uploads, cash matching, and bank reconciliations.
  • Keep vendor records accurate and help with 1099 reporting.
  • Work with internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Sales, FP&A, and People Ops to ensure expenses are classified correctly and invoices are processed promptly.
  • Contribute to audit support and compliance efforts when needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Prior public accounting experience, ideally at a Big 4 firm or similar, or equivalent technical accounting depth.
  • At least 4 years of general accounting experience, preferably in software or technology.
  • Practical experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4 Hana and NetSuite, plus procure-to-pay tools like Bill.com, Ariba, Navan, and Concur.
  • Strong command of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
  • Intermediate Excel ability, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and comfort using cloud-based finance tools.
  • Excellent accuracy, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with multi-entity or international operations.
  • CPA qualification or active CPA track is an advantage.
  • Exposure to financial automation or ERP improvement initiatives.
  • Background in SaaS companies.
  • Experience performing monthly balance sheet and income statement flux analysis.
  • Previous use of travel and expense systems such as Navan, Expensify, or Concur.

Why Join

  • Competitive total rewards package.
  • Remote-friendly work culture.
  • Flexible working setup.
  • Opportunity to work with a high-caliber team.
  • Room for professional growth and career development.
