About the Role

Join Best Buy as a Geek Squad Installation Helper (Cadet) and embark on a career path within our renowned tech support team. You will travel to client residences to support the delivery and basic setup of technology products, working alongside an experienced Agent. Your role is crucial in ensuring clients receive exceptional service by managing appointments with care, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience, and following up on recommendations. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills through comprehensive training and practical, on-the-job experience, gaining in-depth knowledge of our products and services.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver and install technology products in clients' homes, with a focus on home theater systems, and perform basic networking tasks.
• Communicate with clients to share diagnostic findings and suggest protective measures for their devices.
• Assist with managing inventory and maintaining company vehicles.
• Provide feedback to store teams and support in-store repair efforts.

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in actively using and learning about consumer electronics.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a current, valid driver's license.
• A clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last three years.
• No DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions within the past three years.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in consumer electronics, whether in sales, operations, or technical support.
