Job description
Overview
We are seeking professionals with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Services including BigQuery, Looker, and Looker Studio. Candidates should possess strong abilities in database management, data migration, and business intelligence development, alongside experience with Python. This role is based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on involvement with at least one GCP Data Service such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, or Dataflow.
- Designing and implementing data migration approaches for databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and AlloyDB.
- Writing complex SQL queries with a deep understanding of database systems.
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines that transfer data from source systems to target databases using distributed processing frameworks.
- BI development and data modeling using LookML to establish a robust and governed semantic layer.
- Creating interactive dashboards and data visualizations through Looker and Looker Studio.
- Translating business needs into scalable technical data models and LookML specifications.
- Leveraging Generative AI integrated with BigQuery and Looker for conversational analytics solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Professional cloud certification from any CSP (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Expertise in databases such as Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Spanner.
- Proficient in usage and migration of various database types with advanced SQL capabilities.
- Experience with GCP technologies and Python programming.
