Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Carpenter to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The role involves installing a range of modular furniture items, including wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, doors, windows, and other wooden fixtures, ensuring precise and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and install modular furniture and wooden elements according to project requirements.
• Interpret technical drawings and installation layouts accurately for proper fitting.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood or engineered wood materials with precision.
• Operate both hand and power tools safely and effectively throughout the process.
• Perform repairs or make adjustments to installed furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Collaborate closely with site supervisors and various trades like electricians and plumbers to ensure smooth project progression.
• Complete assigned work within established project timelines while maintaining quality standards.
• Keep tools, equipment, and the work area organized and clean at all times.
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and installation procedures.
• Competence in reading and understanding technical drawings and measurements.
• Experience handling modular furniture and interior installation projects.
• Skillfulness with hand and power tools associated with carpentry.
