Position Overview
This role is based in Wilmer, TX, requiring availability as follows: Thursdays and Fridays from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The hourly wage offered is $17.51. This opportunity includes benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, 401(k), and paid vacation.
Job Duties
- Control access for visitors, tenants, and vendors to maintain site security.
- Enforce both client and company policies and procedures diligently.
- Monitor, identify, and report security and safety hazards promptly.
- Perform routine foot patrols inside and around the building premises.
- Report incidents and issues to the operations manager, clients, and relevant management staff.
- Interact professionally with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and general public.
- Carry out additional assigned duties as necessary.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
The position demands standing for long periods, walking, bending, lifting, and may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions. Some tasks require prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Proven customer service skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and operating site-specific security programs.
- Minimum one year of verifiable work experience; military service, concierge experience, or an associate’s/bachelor’s degree in a related field may be considered.
- Possession of VA DCJS License #11-1017 and TX DPS License #B04096301.
- Must own steel-toe boots and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in variable weather conditions and stand for prolonged periods.
