Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Team Member to join our Lighting, Storage, and Flooring departments at Mitre 10 MEGA Silverdale. This role is hands-on and practical, involving a blend of customer service, merchandising, and maintaining high presentation standards across your assigned areas and the broader store. You will assist customers with their projects, manage stock movement and replenishment, and ensure products are well presented and available for sale.

A key part of this position involves physically handling bulky products like flooring and storage items, moving stock from the goods receiving area to the shop floor, and providing support across the store as needed. The role requires standing and working in a physically active environment for the majority of the day.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a customer-focused retail role is essential.
• Comfortable with handling and moving large, bulky stock regularly.
• Approach work with a positive attitude, reliability, and readiness to engage fully with responsibilities.
• Confident communicator who can assist customers in choosing suitable products.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of product and store presentation.
• Available to work a full-time schedule from Tuesday through Saturday.
