About the Employer

Work Schedule
- Sunday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Total weekly hours: 37.5
Role Overview
This retail position is suited to someone with an interest in, or experience with, automotive products. The main goal is to give customers the right guidance in store, help them choose suitable products for their vehicle needs, and support a smooth sales experience from greeting through to checkout.
Key Duties
- Put safety first for yourself, your coworkers, and customers at all times.
- Deliver helpful, authentic service that creates a positive experience for shoppers.
- Use your customer service ability and automotive knowledge to support sales outcomes.
- Keep the showroom neat, well presented, and aligned with merchandising standards.
- Handle stock movements including receiving, dispatching, and storing inventory.
- Work cooperatively with the team and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
- Carry out tasks that involve safe lifting, bending, and climbing.
Experience and Suitability
This role is strongly customer-facing, and applicants should have a real interest in the automotive sector. Experience in automotive retail, parts supply, mechanical workshops, or a similar field is highly regarded. You should be comfortable working in a retail or sales setting, dealing with different types of customers, and communicating clearly by phone and in person. A positive attitude, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are important. Product training will be provided, but prior automotive knowledge or enthusiasm will be a clear advantage. Candidates should make their automotive interest or experience clear in their CV.
