Full-time Nanny, Ipswich

Role overview

This is a permanent nanny position based in the Ipswich region of Queensland on a 65-acre property in Wanora. The household is warm, professional, and family-focused, and the role is designed for someone who can become a trusted part of the family’s day-to-day life.

The family has three young children: a 13.5-month-old and 5-month-old twins who are 8 weeks corrected age. The eldest enjoys time with farm animals, outdoor exploration, and engaging one-on-one experiences. The twins are in an early developmental phase and need steady routines, gentle support, and attentive care.

Working hours and location

The role is based in the Ipswich region, Queensland, Australia. Working hours are 46 hours per week: Wednesday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Pay and employment terms

Compensation is offered at up to $45 per hour, plus superannuation and full entitlements, depending on experience. This is a long-term, stable, permanent full-time opportunity.

Main duties

• Handle day-to-day clothing, bathing, and general care routines for the children.
• Support infant and toddler development, including age-appropriate milestones.
• Plan and participate in outings, play-based learning, and engaging activities where suitable.
• Prepare meals for the children.
• Manage children’s laundry and contribute to light household upkeep such as tidying, dishes, and wiping surfaces.
• Assist with grocery trips, errands, and wider family logistics.
• Drive children to daycare, appointments, and activities.
• Use the family vehicle and fuel card for all work-related duties.

Requirements
