About the Role

Join a fast-paced retail environment where you will help drive efficient product flow, maintain merchandising standards, and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience. This opportunity is with a Fortune 100 off-price retailer known for offering ongoing growth, collaboration, and development across its store and distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a strong in-store experience by interacting positively with customers and supporting a clean, well-organized sales floor.
  • Model high standards of customer service and uphold a respectful, trustworthy work environment.
  • Coordinate truck unloads and prioritize getting incoming merchandise to the sales floor quickly and efficiently.
  • Guide and coach associates on merchandising and product-processing methods.
  • Verify that items are correctly tagged, hung, secured, and coded before placement.
  • Work closely with the Coordinator on Duty to keep merchandise moving smoothly to the selling area.
  • Make sure store tasks are completed according to the plan, adjusting priorities when needed.
  • Track team productivity and provide coaching support when performance needs improvement.
  • Keep back stock organized and rotated to support easy replenishment.
  • Follow merchandising direction and maintain signage standards consistently.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards in the backroom.
  • Support recycling procedures and any hazardous-waste processes required by the store.
  • Communicate priorities, updates, and progress clearly with management and associates.
  • Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback in a professional manner.
  • Partner with management to identify training needs that improve team effectiveness.
  • Follow all labor laws, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Help promote credit and loyalty initiatives.
  • Support store goals related to shrink reduction and loss prevention.
  • Encourage safety awareness and help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be available for a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities or unexpected situations.
  • Works well as part of a team with peers and supervisors.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to train other associates.
  • At least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience are required.

Compensation

The starting pay range for this role is $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Final starting pay is based on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
