As a Keyholder, you play a vital role in maintaining excellent operations within the store, enabling impactful customer engagement. This position requires prioritization of safety, compassion, expertise, and efficiency, embodying and fostering our core company values. You will also represent the store in the community and help drive profitability for sustained growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate cashier and assist customers in making purchases
• Handle merchandise orders, banking tasks, and related paperwork
• Stock small items (weighing under 10 lbs) like pet supplies and household goods
• Maintain store cleanliness through sweeping, dusting, and general upkeep
• Support unloading deliveries containing pet food and supplies (items up to 50 lbs) and restocking shelves
• Open and close the store according to company protocols
• Assign daily objectives and tasks to Assistant Customer Experts (ACEs) when Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager are unavailable
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years retail or customer service experience
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Outgoing and personable with strong customer service aptitude
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation to and from the store is essential
• Possession of a valid driver’s license may be necessary
• Preferred availability during evenings and weekends
• Preferred experience with pets
