Job description
Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic young woman to provide compassionate care and support to our young-minded sister who has survived a stroke eight years ago. This position involves assisting her with daily activities and outings, ensuring her comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany and assist with medical and personal appointments.
- Engage in light exercise activities suitable for the individual.
- Perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning and grocery shopping.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
- Maintain logs as required for care and appointments.
Working Hours
Approximately 35 to 40 hours per week, varying based on appointments. The usual schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Additional Information
- A valid driver’s license is essential; a work vehicle will be provided for transport needs.
- Our sister enjoys activities such as movies, dining out, travelling, shopping, and fashion, which the caregiver will facilitate.
