Overview
Join Citi as a Full-Time Analyst within the Investment Banking Financial Institutions Group based in New York. This role offers a launchpad to apply your academic knowledge to real-world financial services, gaining comprehensive sector expertise and contributing to mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic financial advisory for corporate, financial services, and public sector clients.
Program Structure
The two-year Analyst Program begins each July, kicking off with an intensive six-week training curriculum designed to build essential skills. Post-training, analysts are assigned to specialized teams to participate actively in live projects throughout the program. Outstanding candidates may extend their tenure for a third year, continuing in their existing group or pursuing a one-year rotation either domestically or internationally, with eligibility for associate promotion.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and scrutinize company and industry data to support transactions.
- Develop and interpret financial models including valuations, discounted cash flow analysis, and comparative studies.
- Prepare and finalize presentations that facilitate new business development.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to harmonize project activities.
- Ensure compliance by preparing all necessary internal documentation for control and regulation adherence.

Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive annual salary starting at $110,000 within a range of $100,000 to $135,000. Eligible employees may also receive discretionary and formulaic incentives and retention awards.
