Role Overview

Verkada is hiring a remote Fulfillment Specialist to support its global Operations and Sales functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving problems in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep customers and internal teams updated on order progress and return status through email, phone, and in-person communication.
  • Handle incoming orders, confirm purchase order details, and coordinate with warehouses to make sure shipments go out on time.
  • Manage customer and warehouse returns by receiving items, sorting them appropriately, and starting the refurbishment workflow.
  • Partner with Global Operations and Supply Chain teams to support inbound and outbound shipping, escalations, and exceptions.
  • Work closely with Finance to resolve issues related to orders and returns.
  • Support operations through additional projects and ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Independently manage the LTL workflow, including freight carrier scheduling, complex logistics coordination, and key documentation such as BOLs and SLIs.
  • Protect shipping timelines by shifting priorities independently so daily deadlines are met.
  • Follow team PTO blackout periods: the last 3 days of each month and the final 7 calendar days before the end of each quarter.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a call center environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience coordinating logistics, especially domestic LTL/freight scheduling and BOL documentation.
  • Experience handling email and entering orders in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proper email etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage time well, and stay self-motivated.
  • Excellent attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • A collaborative attitude and a positive approach to teamwork.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a customer service assessment.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Experience with international shipping and Tax/VAT overrides is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Must be based in the MST, CST, or EST time zone.
  • Should be able to handle a daily workload with around 90% autonomy and offer practical solutions, not just identify issues.
  • Need to maintain speed and accuracy even as tasks become more complex.
  • Comfortable working with ERP, WMS, or logistics systems and investigating mismatches between digital records and physical shipments.

Benefits

  • Healthcare options that can be tailored to individual needs, with 100% employee premium coverage under at least one plan and 80% family premium coverage across all plans.
  • Medical, vision, and dental coverage available nationwide.
  • Health Savings Account support with employer contributions and Flexible Spending Account tax-saving options.
  • Expanded mental health support.
  • Paid parental leave and fertility benefits.
  • Paid holidays, company-wide extended holidays, flexible PTO, and personal sick time.
  • Professional development stipend.
  • Wellness and fitness benefits.

Additional Information

Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States. At this time, the company cannot sponsor or transfer employment visa sponsorship for this role.

Compensation
