Role overview
In this position, you will join the dispatch operation to safely transport fuel to residential and commercial customers. The role is centered on providing a reliable, essential service in a workplace that prioritizes safety, compliance, and customer care. Success in this job depends on following assigned routes, properly loading the truck, and carrying out pre-trip and post-trip checks while meeting Department of Transportation rules and procedures.

Key responsibilities
- Operate a delivery truck in full compliance with DOT regulations and internal procedures.
- Work with the dispatch team to complete fuel deliveries for both residential and commercial clients.
- Plan and follow daily routes using practical knowledge of roads, neighborhoods, zones, and geography.
- Load product onto the truck while following all safety rules at the loading site or bulk plant.
- Complete shift reports, vehicle inspections before and after trips, and any required documentation.
Skills needed
- Comfort with basic arithmetic.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good customer service ability.
- High awareness of safety requirements.
Experience and education
- A valid Class 1, Class 2, or Class 3 driver’s license with air brakes is required; an A or D licence with Z endorsement is also accepted.
- At least 2 years of professional driving experience is needed.
- Experience handling liquid cargo will be considered an advantage.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
