Role Summary

As a Frontend Developer at Revium, you will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including sales, project management, business analysis, customer experience, backend developers, and clients to translate frontend requirements into high-quality digital solutions. This role involves taking shared responsibility for meeting project quality, budget, and timeline goals. The position is a six-month contract with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance on frontend development methodologies.
  • Deliver projects successfully within defined scope, quality, effort, budget, and timelines.
  • Proactively contribute to solution design ensuring outstanding client outcomes.
  • Lead or participate in briefing sessions capturing requirements and identifying risks.
  • Demonstrate leadership through exemplary code quality, high standards, dedicated work ethic, and enthusiasm.
  • Offer practical support and mentoring to fellow developers.
  • Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards where applicable.
  • Create code optimized for SEO performance.
  • Work with internal and external APIs as necessary.
  • Assist in preparing quotes for new or ongoing projects.
  • Develop prototypes and applications from design concepts.
  • Provide customer support related to client applications.
  • Contribute to company knowledge sharing and process improvements.
  • Communicate challenges or blockages effectively to senior team members.
  • Maintain and develop both new and legacy projects.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum three years experience in frontend development, ideally within a digital agency environment.
  • Proficient with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, Node.js, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as VueJS, ReactJS, Angular, Next.js, or Nuxt.js.
  • Experienced daily user of AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or equivalents as part of development workflow.
  • Strong visual detail orientation for frontend development.
  • Proactive, self-driven, reliable, and eager to learn and improve skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Australian resident currently living in Victoria is required.
