Job description

About the Company

Circus, based in Munich, is building the next generation of on-demand autonomous food production. The company combines robotics and AI to cover the full chain from creation and production to day-to-day operations.

Its work is rooted in major advances in robotics powered by artificial intelligence, helping close the gap needed for truly autonomous food automation. The goal is to reshape how food is produced and experienced, much like autonomous driving is transforming urban life and mobility.

The team brings together specialists in robotics, AI, engineering, and culinary fields, working with major industry partners to change every part of the food service experience.

Role Overview

Circus’s Munich headquarters is the place where the future of autonomous food production is developed and where partners, investors, and customers visit to experience it first-hand. This position is responsible for that experience.

As the Front-Office & Guest Relations associate, you will be the main operational support for the office and showroom: the first person visitors meet, the person who keeps daily coordination on track, and an important contributor to demos that create strong impressions and support business conversations.

This is a part-time, on-site position with direct involvement in office operations, showroom coordination, and stakeholder-facing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and assist all guests and visitors, manage access, and consistently create a polished and welcoming first impression.
  • Oversee incoming mail, parcels, and invoices, including sorting, matching, and directing documents to the right place.
  • Coordinate meeting rooms and manage scheduling across the Munich headquarters.
  • Support office management and operations, including vendors, service providers, facilities, and everyday office activities.
  • Handle incoming calls and other communication channels in a clear, professional manner.
  • Prepare the showroom and organize logistics for product demonstrations and showcase events.
  • Support projects and complete additional ad hoc tasks alongside ongoing operational duties.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in front-office, office management, reception, or guest relations work.
  • Strong command of both German and English, with a minimum C1 level in speaking and writing for each language.
  • Comfortable using MS Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Technically confident enough to support demo and showroom coordination in a robotics-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a calm, professional, and service-oriented approach.
  • Well organized, capable of juggling multiple tasks, and able to work independently.

Preferred Background

  • Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Experience in a startup, technology, or showroom setting is preferred.
  • Experience in events, hospitality, or customer experience is a plus.

What the Company Offers

  • Personal development support, including a training budget, internal learning opportunities, and room to grow in a fast-moving environment.
  • The chance to contribute to a team reshaping how food is produced and experienced, from the company’s Munich headquarters.
  • Monthly mobility support or other expense allowance, plus a subsidized subscription for e-bike or e-moped mobility.
  • Well-being benefits such as a discounted Urban Sports Club membership and access to Wellhub offerings.

Additional Information

This is a part-time, on-site role in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. The employer has also indicated that the role includes a range of responsibilities beyond the core front-office function, including office operations, showroom support, and project-related tasks.

The original posting also mentions a partially listed benefits section, indicating there may be further offer details not fully shown in the source.
