About the venue
Loosies Superette is a lively diner and late-night hospitality spot on Cuba Street. The venue serves generous diner-style meals and specialty taptails, with service running from lunchtime through to late evening, before moving downstairs into the Saloon.
Role overview
The team is looking for energetic Front of House Team Members who enjoy meeting people, building rapport quickly, and keeping the service flowing smoothly. This is a customer-facing position where no two shifts are the same.
Key duties
You will be the main point of contact for guests and help create a memorable experience through friendly, efficient service.
- Welcome guests and provide attentive, upbeat service
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Serve meals and beverages to tables or guests
- Clear tables and tidy the service area after customers leave
- Support bar service after training, including occasional bar shifts
- Work closely with the team in a fast-paced environment
- Handle several tasks at once while staying calm under pressure
What they are looking for
The ideal person is outgoing, adaptable, and comfortable in a busy hospitality setting. A strong people focus and the ability to manage variety in the day are important.
- Friendly, energetic, and confident with customers
- Able to multitask and stay organised during busy periods
- Comfortable working under pressure
- Customer service experience is preferred, though not essential
