Role Overview
As a front-of-house and customer service team member, you will help keep the venue running smoothly while ensuring guests receive attentive, efficient, and welcoming service. The role combines guest interaction, operational support, cleanliness, reservations handling, and coordination with the market management team.
Key Duties
- Make sure tables are prepared, cleared, and reset promptly.
- Deliver service that is warm, attentive, efficient, and well-informed at all times.
- Understand Manifesto’s offers and events so you can answer questions about the venues, menus, pricing, and upcoming activities.
- Oversee opening and closing routines and ensure the space remains clean and properly maintained.
- Help manage stock levels and maintain suitable inventory for front-of-house supplies.
- Monitor the venue environment regularly, including floor cleaning, furniture setup, restroom upkeep, and organizing service items in storage and operational areas.
- Assist colleagues with cleaning, sanitation, stocking, and organizing so guest satisfaction remains high.
- Help manage table reservations by checking bookings and preparing reserved tables in advance.
- Handle administrative tasks carefully, efficiently, and within required timelines.
- Ensure the point-of-sale system is used correctly and remains operational.
- Support the enforcement of health, safety, and sanitation standards in your area.
- Assist in creating and updating standard operating procedures and workplace rules.
- Follow Manifesto’s operating procedures at all times.
- Carry out instructions from the Market Manager and organize tasks by priority.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed, as the role may evolve over time.
