Job description
Position Summary
Pikes Peak Post Acute is looking for a reliable, polished, and guest-oriented front desk receptionist to provide PRN coverage across Dublin Post Acute and Westerville Post Acute. In this role, you will be the first person residents, families, visitors, and team members connect with, helping create a warm first impression while also handling day-to-day front office administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer routine administrative and clerical assistance to support the front office.
- Welcome patients, visitors, and clients in a courteous and upbeat manner.
- Receive incoming phone calls, relay messages, and transfer calls as needed.
- Register visitors on arrival and guide or escort them to the appropriate location.
- Notify staff when visitors arrive or when scheduled visits are canceled.
- Keep the visitor sign-in record current and organized.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Arrange appointments and maintain booking schedules for meeting rooms.
- Keep the reception area neat, organized, and presentable.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
- Protect resident privacy by not sharing protected health information and reporting any suspected or confirmed improper disclosure to the Administrator.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of resident care information, including protected health information, and report any known or suspected unauthorized disclosure.
Qualifications
This role suits someone with strong communication skills, a professional presence, and the ability to stay organized in a busy healthcare setting. Prior experience in reception, administration, or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with healthcare, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation environments is an advantage. Candidates should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard office equipment, have reliable transportation, and be able to travel between the Dublin and Westerville locations as needed.
Schedule
- PRN / as needed coverage.
- Flexible availability is preferred, including weekdays and occasional weekends or holidays.
- Working hours will depend on facility staffing and coverage demands.
- Travel between both locations may be required to provide reception support.
